BotIntelli — Emergency Access User Guide
This guide explains Emergency Access: how to request temporary elevated access in an emergency, view active sessions, and revoke access.
What Is Emergency Access?
Emergency Access lets authorized users request temporary elevated access (e.g. admin-level) when needed (e.g. outage, key person unavailable). You provide a reason; the system grants access for a limited time. You can see active emergency sessions and revoke them when the situation is over.
Where to Find It
- Sidebar: Advanced Access → Emergency Access.
- URL:

Complete User Journey
Step 1: Open Emergency Access
- You see a card or section with Request emergency access and a list of Active emergency sessions (if any).
Step 2: Request Emergency Access
- Click Request emergency access (or “Request access”).
- Reason: In the dialog, enter a clear reason (e.g. “Production incident – need to change pipeline config”). This is usually required and may be audited.
- Submit. The system grants temporary elevated access (e.g. admin scope) for a short period. You can now perform the needed actions.
Step 3: View Active Sessions
- Active emergency sessions lists current emergency sessions: who requested, reason, time remaining (e.g. “2h 15m remaining”). When time expires, the session ends automatically.
Step 4: Revoke Emergency Access
- If the emergency is over before the timer ends, an authorized user can click Revoke on that session. Access is removed immediately.
