BotIntelli — AI Dashboards User Guide
This guide explains AI Dashboards: what they are, how to view, create, edit, and share dashboards made of charts and metrics.
What Are AI Dashboards?
AI Dashboards are collections of charts, tiles, and metrics you can view in one place. You can create dashboards, add tiles (e.g. from AI Insights or manual metrics), arrange layout, and share them with your team (depending on permissions).
Where to Find It
- Sidebar: AI Analytics → AI Dashboards.
- URL:
https://app.botintelli.com/dashboard?view=analytics(or the view used for dashboards in your app).
Complete User Journey
Step 1: View Dashboard List
- You see a list of dashboards (name, description, last updated, owner, etc.). Click a dashboard to open it.
Step 2: Open a Dashboard
- The dashboard opens with its tiles/charts in a grid or layout. You can:
- View metrics and charts.
- Use filters (e.g. date range) if the dashboard has them.
- Interact with charts (e.g. drill-down) when supported.
Step 3: Create a New Dashboard (When You Have Permission)
- Click Create dashboard or “New dashboard.”
- Name: Enter a title (e.g. “Sales overview”, “Support KPIs”).
- Description (optional): Short description.
- Save. You get an empty dashboard; add tiles next.
Step 4: Add Tiles
- From AI Insights: In AI Insights, after running a query and seeing a chart, use Save to dashboard and choose this dashboard (or “New dashboard”). The chart is added as a tile.
- From dashboard editor: If the app supports it, use Add tile or “Add chart” and configure the tile (e.g. metric, chart type, data source).
Step 5: Edit Layout and Tiles
- Edit mode: Open the dashboard in Edit mode.
- Arrange: Drag tiles to reorder or resize (if the layout supports it).
- Edit tile: Click a tile to change its title, data, or chart type.
- Remove tile: Delete the tile from the dashboard.
- Save when done.
Step 6: Share (When Available)
- Use Share to send a link or invite others. Permissions (view/edit) depend on your role and app settings.

- Tile not updating: Check that the underlying data source or pipeline is current; refresh the dashboard if there’s a refresh control.
- Can’t edit: Ensure you have edit permission for that dashboard.
