BotIntelli — Dashboard User Guide
This guide explains the main Dashboard: what it shows, how to use the layout, and how to jump to other areas of the app.
What Is the Dashboard?
The Dashboard is your home view after sign-in. It gives a high-level overview of your workspace (files, storage, bots, workflows) and shortcuts to upload files, create assistants/agents, and open chats or workflows.

- Sidebar: Main → Dashboard (first item).

Layout Overview
Header (top bar)
- Logo / brand — Click to go to a new chat or home.
- User greeting — e.g. “Hi, [Your name]”.
- Sign out — Logs you out.
Sidebar (left)
- Main: Dashboard.
- Business Context: Overview, Knowledge Base, Pipeline Management.
- AI Analytics: AI Insights, Insight Feed, AI Dashboards, Data Stories, AI Investigator, Alerts Manager.
- Chats: All Chats, Assistants.
- Automation: Workflow Designer, Workflows, Templates.
- Security & Compliance: Security, SSO, Audit Logs, Access Reviews, SoD Policies, Compliance, GDPR Requests.
- Advanced Access: Delegations, Emergency Access.
- Settings: Settings.
- Plan & usage (footer): Current plan name and usage (e.g. Bots, Messages, Workflows, Pipelines, Documents, Storage). Upgrade Plan may appear when applicable.
Main content area
- Shows the view you selected (e.g. Dashboard, Knowledge Base, Workflows). For Dashboard, you see stats and action cards.
What the Dashboard View Shows
Stats and metrics (examples)
- Files — Total files and folders; recent uploads.
- Storage — Storage used vs limit (e.g. progress bar).
- Bots / Agents — Active assistants and agents.
- Workflows — Number of workflows.
Exact metrics depend on your plan and backend; the layout uses cards and optional progress indicators.
Recent activity
- Short list of recent events, e.g.:
- “Uploaded documents” (e.g. X files this week).
- “AI Assistant created” (e.g. Customer support bot).
- Helps you see what’s been happening in the workspace.
Shortcuts / actions
- Upload files — Opens the file upload flow (e.g. modal or Knowledge Base).
- Create assistant / Create agent — Opens the create-assistant or create-agent flow.
- New chat / Workflows — Quick links to start a chat or open Workflows.
Use these to move quickly into Knowledge Base, Assistants, Chat, or Workflows without using the sidebar.
What to Do on the Dashboard
- Check status — Review files, storage, bots, and workflows at a glance.
- Upload files — Use the upload shortcut to add documents to your knowledge base.
- Create an assistant or agent — Use the create shortcut to add a new bot.
- Start a chat — Use the chat shortcut, then choose an assistant/agent or workflow.
- Open other areas — Click any sidebar item (Overview, Knowledge Base, Pipeline Management, AI Insights, All Chats, Assistants, Workflows, Settings, etc.).
