BotIntelli — All Chats User Guide

This guide explains All Chats: how to see your chat sessions, filter and sort them, open a conversation, and start a new chat.


What Is All Chats?

All Chats is the list of your chat sessions. Each session is a conversation with one participant (an assistant, agent, or workflow). You can open any session to continue the conversation or start a new chat.

Complete User Journey

Step 1: Open All Chats

  • You see a list (or table) of chat sessions. Each row may show:
    • Title or preview of the conversation.
    • Participant name (assistant, agent, or workflow).
    • Type (assistant / agent / workflow).
    • Last message or snippet.
    • Last message date/time.
    • User (if you see other users’ chats and have permission).

Step 2: Filter and Sort

  • Filter by participant: Use a dropdown to show “All” or a specific assistant/agent/workflow. Only sessions with that participant appear.
  • Filter by date: If a date filter exists, set a range to narrow the list.
  • Sort: Use column headers or a sort control to sort by title, participant, date, or type (e.g. newest first).

Step 3: Open a Session

  • Click a row (or “Open” on the session). The Chat Interface opens with that session loaded—same participant and message history. You can continue the conversation.

Step 4: Start a New Chat

  • Click New chat (or “Start new chat”). You may be taken to the Chat view and asked to choose an assistant, agent, or workflow from the dropdown; once selected, you type and send the first message.

Step 5: Workflow Sessions (If Applicable)

  • Sessions with workflow as the participant may represent workflow runs. Opening them shows the conversation for that run. The list may show workflow name and execution context.

Tips and Troubleshooting

  • Session missing: It may have been deleted or you may lack permission; try refreshing or adjusting filters.
  • Wrong participant in chat: After opening, use the participant dropdown in the Chat Interface to switch.
  • Empty list: Start a new chat from Assistants or New chat; sessions appear here after you send messages.
