BotIntelli — Ask BotIntelli User Guide

This guide explains Ask BotIntelli: the natural-language way to ask questions about your data and get charts and answers.

What Is Ask BotIntelli?

Ask BotIntelli is the natural-language “Ask about your data” experience in BotIntelli. You type a question in plain English (e.g. “What were total sales by region last quarter?”), and the system returns charts, tables, or summaries based on your connected data (Knowledge Base, pipelines, datasets). In the app, this is the same flow as AI Insights—there is no separate “Ask BotIntelli” page; the main input on the AI Insights view is Ask BotIntelli.

Where to Find It

  • Sidebar: AI AnalyticsAI Insights. The main input on that page (e.g. “Ask about your data…” or “Ask BotIntelli”) is where you type your question.
  • URL: https://app.botintelli.com/dashboard?view=ai-insights.

How to Use It

  1. Open AI Insights (Chats / AI Analytics → AI Insights).
  2. Type your question in the main input (the Ask BotIntelli / “Ask about your data” box). Examples:
    • “What were total sales by region last quarter?”
    • “Show me top 10 products by revenue.”
    • “Compare signups for the last 6 months.”
  3. Send (Enter or the send button). The system interprets the question and runs it against your data.
  4. View the result — Chart, table, or summary. You can change chart type, save to a dashboard, or ask a follow-up in the same session.
  5. If the question is ambiguous, choose the right dataset or context from the disambiguation options.

What Data Is Used?

  • Knowledge Base — Documents and files you uploaded or synced.
  • Pipeline data — Data from Salesforce, HubSpot, databases, APIs, etc., that you’ve connected and ingested.

Ensure the right data is connected and up to date so answers are accurate.
